Taste of Nova Scotia Trail. In 2009 Taste of Nova Scotia will implement a culinary trail around the Province. Visitors will be encouraged to experience the flavours of established operators and award winning wineries and meet local members whose passion is a fundamental part of their success.
Wines of Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia is quite possibly one of the first areas to cultivate grapes in North America. Our wineries have garnered international acclaim for their efforts and passion. L’Acadie Vineyards is Nova Scotia’s newest addition to the growing wine region and is also the province’s first organic winery. L’Acadie Vineyards is focused on producing world-class traditional-method sparkling wines.
Cape Breton’s Glenora Distillery produces the only single malt whisky in Canada ~ the Glen Breton.
Upcoming food and wine festivals & events include the Nova Scotia Fall Wine Festival, from September 7 - October 30. You’ll discover the passion and artistry of Nova Scotia’s winemakers and some of our province’s finest chefs.
